DADABOTS is a musical and mathematical research group that mixes the elements of a band, a hackathon team, and a temporary research laboratory. Programming an AI to generate and duplicate music is accomplished through the use of deep learning techniques such as Wavenets, NSynth, and SampleRNN. The math rock and black metal genres are where they put their emphasis. They are investigating several approaches to modelling musical style, generating music with a desired timbre, and developing an army of remix bots. They are breaking conventions in order to preserve the existence of music and to find new sounds.
